The inaugural conference of the *Peter Brojde Center for Innovative
Engineering and Computer Science* is devoted to the topic of sensing. This
one day meeting is organized by the Department of Applied Physics and the
School of Engineering and Computer Science of the Hebrew University. The
meeting will take place at Yad Hashmona (located 20 minutes away from Givat
Ram Campus). The meeting is open to both academia and industry. Broad
aspects of sensing will be covered by leading scientists from Israel and
abroad that will share their work and vision in the field. The meeting will
include four different sessions focusing on novel nano-sensing platforms,
bio sensing, computational sensing, and industrial applications of sensing.
